What’s the difference between digital & content marketing?

After what felt like a long hiatus, Sam & Roop are back in the studio this week to chat about digital and content marketing. They’re often used interchangeably, but they’re not the same thing.

Think of it like this: digital marketing is the ad you see—a banner, a pre-roll video, or that paid search link at the top of your Google results. It’s often backed by media dollars and designed to drive immediate action: click, watch, download. Content marketing, on the other hand, is what you read or listen to—a blog in your feed, a video someone shared, or a podcast you subscribe to. It’s less about the hard sell and more about showing value and staying relevant.

So which one should your B2B brand use? Do they work together? Take a listen to find out!

–Brandon, Roop, Claudia & Sam
