KIPP Tulsa and Littlefield Agency host second annual pitch competition

On Friday, November 17, KIPP Tulsa Public Charter Schools and Littlefield Agency held the second annual pitch competition for the Littlefield Agency & KIPP Tulsa Creative Achievement Scholarship. The event took place at the OSU-Tulsa campus.

Throughout the year, agency employees Mike Rocco, Steve Roop, Brock Campbell, and Courtney Roberts mentored teams of KIPP high schoolers. They guided teams in developing a new product or service, naming it, creating ad campaigns, targeting audiences, and refining pitches.

For the final pitch competition, teams contested to win a $5,000 college scholarship split equally among team members. Judges selected the winning pitch based on its creativity and profitability.

“It’s so cool seeing what once was an idea in a conference room here at the agency come to life for the second year in a row,” said Sam Littlefield, president and CEO of Littlefield Agency. “The student who won already owns a business and needed money to ramp up product production. Our agency can now help her continue pursuing her passion, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her dream come to life.”
